Selling Over the Phone:


Will selling Over the Phone work on any computer?
Selling Over the Phone (REMOTEvisit) is an on-line product and there are many variables regarding how each users web browser and corporate firewall are configured - this solution will work on any computer that has Java installed (including Apple™ computers) and uses standards-compliant corporate firewalls. We have found that there are only about 4% of computers that are not equipped to use our Over the Phone selling solution - these cases are usually quickly remedied by installing Java on-the-fly (a two minute process).

Can using the Over the Phone solution give users access to the clients' computer?
NO. There is no way that the presenter will be able to access anything other than the Virtual Visit Presentations application window. It is important to understand that the presenter is not viewing the client's screen; they are viewing their own. The only information being transferred between the two computers are mouse movements and clicks.

Can my clients access and use the Over the Phone solution on their own?
Not directly - the client can only watch and ask questions. If you wish to provide the client access to the site-inspection for their own review, you would simply provide them with your Virtual Visit Presentations Online link. For 3rd party meeting planners that would benefit from being able to take their client on a tour of your facility, you have the option of providing them with a user account.

Is high speed access required?
High-speed web access is not required but it is recommended. On a dial-up connection the photos load in approximately 8 seconds. On a regular high-speed connection (DSL/Cable) the photos typically load in less than one second. Corporate internet connections are usually instantaneous.

Online

Will the Virtual Visit Presentations Online solution work on every computer?
Yes, the Online sales solution will work on any computer that has Java installed (including Apple™ computers).

The Virtual Visit Presentations Online solution is available to an UNLIMITED number of users. Since it is a self-guided (client driven) solution, it is really a matter of how many visitors you can get to your web site or send the direct launch link.

Face to Face

Does the Face to Face solution display larger than the Online solution ?
Yes - because the Face to Face solution is installed directly on your laptop / desktop, there are no restrictions due to internet bandwidth and so the program displays in a 1024 x 768 (standard display) window. Additionally, features such as animations, text editing and elevators can be included.

Will the Face to Face solution work on any computer?
Yes the Virtual Visit Presentations Face to Face solution will work on any computer however if you are using an Apple Macintosh, you will need to run it via Virtual PC or some other Windows emulator.

How many computers can I install this solution on?
We believe in the "the more the merrier" concept and as such you can install the Face to Face solution on as many hard drives as you like. Install it on your property level sales teams computers, your Global Sales teams computers, your Concierge Desk computer etc.

Corporate Swag:

Do my clients have to install any software to view our Virtual Visit Presentations CD?
No installation required! This product is very IT manager friendly because it does not require installation.

Can I burn and distribute copies of my Virtual Visit Presentations CD?

We include a Virtual Visit Presentations "master" CD as part of the "five product" solution. You can burn copies at your hotel or resort for distribution to your clients**. We also offer an optional high-volume CD replication solution (minimum of 500 units).

Can you provide mini-CDs / business card CDs ?
Most definitely ! The only limitation to these smaller CDs is storage size - typical property-level presentations are 80 MB in size which will fit comfortably on the standard mini-CDs. Ask your Virtual Visit Presentations reps for suggestions on how to make your CDs stand out from your competition.

USB drives don't normally "auto-run" so can be difficult for non-technical clients. Also, how do make sure clients don't erase my tour ?
We can configure specialized USB sticks to act just like a CD/DVD so that when they are inserted, your Virtual Visit Presentation automatically starts - the user doesn't have to do anything except start exploring your property. This solution also allows us to write-protect a section of the memory - the result is your site inspection will never be erased but any leftover space can be used by your client, thus making it a multi-purpose tool they'll keep. Ask your Virtual Visit Presentations representative for further details.

Can I create a customized tour for one of my special clients ?
Please do ! One of the main reasons we created the Trade Show solution was to enable you to create highly customized tours and share them with your clients. One of the "hidden gems" in our solution set allows you to mass-replicate your CDs (for lower production costs) and then send to your clients. When it's time to provide the client with a customized tour that meets their specific needs, you record and send the tour path via email - the client simply saves the file on their computer and the standard CD will recognize the tour path and provide it as an option when it starts.

At Trade Shows:

Do I have to install any software to use my Virtual Visit Presentation at tradeshows?
No. You can run the Virtual Visit Presentation directly from a CD if you are not using your own computer, however you may wish to install the solution for increased performance and flexibility.

Can I use a data/LCD projector or large screen?
Yes, all of our products can be used with a data/LCD projector or large data monitor/TV.

Do I have to record tour paths each time I attend a trade show ?
No - you can store up to four different paths "internally" for immediate recall at any event (i.e. record one path for each market segment - Tour & Travel, corporate Group, Corporate IT, Association). Additionally, you can export the tour paths to external files for unlimited storage and/or to share with other sales representatives or clients.

Multi-Property:

Will the Multi-Property solution work on any computer?
Yes the Virtual Visit Presentations Multi-Property solution will work on any computer. However if you are using an Apple Macintosh you will need to run it via Virtual PC or some other Windows emulator.

What if I am only selling one brand?
It is not necessary to be selling multiple brands to use the Multi-Property solution. This solution is always custom-built to match your particular needs, whether used by property-level teams for cross-selling, national/global sales teams, or a combination of both.

The properties in my portfolio are always changing. How easy is it to update the Multi-Property solution ?
The beauty of this solution is its flexibility. Think of the Multi-Property solution as national/global sales presentation that has multiple links to each property-level sales presentation via an interactive map. As individual properties enhance their own tours, the changes are immediately reflected in the Multi-Property system. Additionally, adding or removing properties can be done via our online updates system - there is no need to publish and distribute new CD/DVDs for each change !
